Ahli International Bank | housing loan TVC

Find a random middle-class couple planning to get married. Ask them what is their biggest fear. Most probably she will tell you “Having to put up with my mother-in-law with me in the same kitchen”. Whereas he will tell you: “Not being able to afford a home”. And when facing such an existential angst, people tend to become as superstitious as cavemen, and cling to anything that gives them the thinnest beam of hope. That’s it. It’s simple, poignant and “cash”. That’s the spot-on approach chosen by Spirit Beirut, to create the new tactical hit TVC for Ahli International Bank — as part of the second full-fledge campaign for the bank in less than one year. And as you might have guessed by now, we are indeed talking Housing Loans. He (the inquirer) said: Tell me some of its indications. He (the Holy Prophet) said: That the slave-girl will give birth to her mistress and master, that you will find barefooted, destitute goat-herds vying with one another in the construction of magnificent buildings.

They DON’T EVEN HAVE THE NOTES for MOST foreclosed homes! FUCKS!
    .
Big banks should’ve NEVER been bailed out! They only wanted us to THINK the economy would’ve crashed without it! What REALY would’ve happened? People would’ve just moved their money to the SMALLER BANKS! But the RICH would’ve lost THEIR money! The bailout (and the BULLSHIT Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act) did NOTHING to help consumers and EVERYTHING to help the rich keep their ill-gotten gains! WAKE UP!

@RBLA818 … if Schneiderman is REALLY serious, I hope God will protect him
and let him finish the job he intends to do. if this is just POLITICAL grandstanding,
the Law of Karma will deal with it in a JUST WAY. DSK got wacked with a “soft ”
option, the higher ups will not hesitate to use ” all options ” available to them.

Gov’t made these banks too big by giving them the monopoly (especially to the Fed’s discount window for 0% money), gave them the tools: Freddie/Fannie/FHA to ‘insure’ the mortgages with gov’t guarantees, gave them the reason: 0% interest, which means everybody was living on credit, there was no savings and no investment capital, all this to fight ‘deflation’ (lowering prices on home equity, so gov’t politicians look better) by printing money.

Banks are guilty of doing what gov’t wanted

@cpufightclub I realize that but I never supported the wars in the middle east.

  12. cpufightclub says:

@grasd2 Don’t you think it is a little late to be concerned about that now? Ever since 9/11, people in America have been clamoring for increased military involvement in the middle east. As a consequence of war, poverty increases, human freedom is constricted, and generally speaking resources supporting civilization break down. I see this situation as a case of the crow returning home to roost. Perhaps Americans should considered the effects of war before pulling so heavily for it.

  13. grasd2 says:

@cpufightclub So you support throwing tons of people in prison in order to fill them up and you support the fact that it’s almost certainly only middle class and lower class people going to prison while rich criminals don’t even get a slap on the wrist? What the fuck is wrong with you?

  14. Leadman1989 says:

Build it and they will come…

  15. psgchisolm says:

@TheAnubisDrake The problem with that is… this isn’t a pole vault competition.

  16. bonkuraysan says:

    @Polydynamix kk lol :D

  17. cpufightclub says:

@astraia1x They should pay for fucking over the American people? That is a little self righteous. Nearly 10 years ago, the American people were sold the idea of unlimited warfare in the Middle East. The American people at that time bought what the Federal Government sold hook, line, and sinker. And now after 10 years of military occupation having destroyed at least two countries, the American people are feeling the sting of that choice made 10 years prior to invade other countries.

  18. cpufightclub says:

@grasd2 There can not be an effective prison system with out people to put in prison in the first place. Makes sense to me.

  20. robertrulebirtannia says:

@TheCaptainLulz Is wasn’t ever that simple

  21. TheCaptainLulz says:

@robertrulebirtannia You think killing a ceo kills a company, let alone wallstreet, youre dreaming. If youve even got a bank account, youre involved in these and every other company on wall street. Its not a monolith or a castle youre dealing with, its a fungus, one that spreads its fillaments into every person on plante earth. The guillotine belonged to a bygone age, things arent remotely that simple now.

  22. grasd2 says:

@cpufightclub I was referring to the crooks on wall street and bankers who destroyed the economy not even spending a second in prison while lower and middle class people are being thrown in higher rates than ever.

  23. sagemakaiserxl says:

If Wall Street wants to continue robbing people of their hard earned money. They shouldn’t expect prison. They should expect an angry, poor, desperate mob brutally killing them. It’s a handful of people ruining the world. Put them in prison now or watch the world burn later.
